Apa Itu Insomnia?
Insomnia adalah sejenis penyakit tidak boleh tidur atau
gangguan tidur. Penyakit ini boleh terjadi disebabkan oleh gangguan kepada
mental atau fizikal seseorang.
Jenis-Jenis Insomnia
Terdapat 2 jenis insomnia iaitu insomnia jangka pendek atau
jangka panjang. Kebiasaannya Insomnia jangka pendek ini disebabkan oleh
orang-orang yang mengalami tekanan kepada mental, manakala Insomnia jangka
panjang disebabkan oleh gangguan
fizikal.
Penyebab Penyakit Insomnia atau Susah Tidur
Salah satu faktor penyebab Insomnia ialah gangguan mental
seperti tekanan ditempat kerja, tekanan keluarga, tekanan diadalam perhubungan
atau tekanan kawan-kawan. Perasaan ketakutan atau cemas ini boleh menyebabkan
hilangnya perasaan mengantuk dan ini menyebabkan seseorang itu susah untuk
tidur atau sering terjaga diwaktu malam. Kemurungan juga boleh menjadi faktor penyebab
kepada Insomnia yang teruk.
Selain gangguan mental, gangguan fizikal juga boleh menjadi
faktor penyebab Insomnia seperti menderita
penyakit tertentu. Penyakit paru-paru, asma, gastrik atau tidak dapat bernafas
dengan baik juga boleh menjadi penyebab
kepada penderitanya susah tidur.
Perubahan pola tidur seperti migrasi ke tempat lain yang
mempunyai suhu yang berbeza juga boleh menjadi faktor penyebab gangguan tidur.
Cara pemakanan atau diet yang tidak sihat juga boleh
mengganggu masalah tidur seperti makan terlampau banyak makan. Bagi sesetengah
orang perut yang kenyang menyebabkan susahnya untuk tidur tetapi sesetengah
pula senang untuk tidur. Makanan atau minuman yang mengandungi kafein juga boleh menjadi
faktor penyebab Insomnia.
Faktor persekitaran seperti keadaan tempat tidur yang panas,
terlampau sejuk, kurang bersih atau pasangan yang berdengkur dengan kuat boleh menjadi
penyebab hilangnya rasa mengantuk dan mengganggu tidur seseorang.
Cara Mengatasi Masalah Tidur ( Insomnia )
Terdapat beberapa cara untuk mengatasi masalah tidur, salah
